At Accel Physical Therapy & Massage we offer a wide variety of rehabilitative services to help you achieve the level of health and wellness you require.
We are a Physical Therapy & Massage Clinic located in Timberlea, that opened March 14, 2016. The owners of Accel are Angie Martin and Ashleigh Whiffen. Combined they have been treating clients in Fort McMurray for over 10 years. Along side them are three other Physical Therapists, Justin MacIsaac, Rob MacSwain, and Mark Austin.
Assessments are thorough and explained in detail to gain a full understanding of your condition. They will include a biomechanical screen, gait analysis and a detailed physical and neurological screen. Treatments often include manual therapy, medical acupuncture, functional dry needling, education of your condition, K-Taping, therapeutic exercise and modalities.
Along with Physical Therapy, we have five massage therapists, Ashley Sidock, Ben Williams, Katie Stuckless, Cynthia Sheppard, and Pam Stoodley. They are all Registered Massage Therapists that are trained in relaxation, deep tissue, pre-natal, and post natal massage therapy.
Combining both Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy, we are devoted to our clients to ensure they reach their rehabilitation goals and provide one on one care they require.
