B Best Honey was established in 2008 when my husband, Chad started raising bees on my mom and step dads farm. It all started with a few beehives and has grown into a small business that keeps us busy! Chad works for the largest beekeeping supply company and decided after traveling around to different work related conventions that it would be best to have bees so he knew exactly what to expect and to properly explain different aspects of beekeeping.
In the summer of 2009, we extracted our first batches of honey so I decided to sell it at our local Farmers Market which proved to be successful. I also wanted to provide a few different products that were made with honey too. So with a little research I started making lip balm, a scrub, and Vanilla Honey Bath.
In the winter of 2010, all of our bees died so last summer after replacing our hives we had minimal honey and decided that it would be best to only sell to our returning customers . In the fall, I bought several soap bases and decided to make soap along with the other bath products that I originally offered. So after a few months of the soap base sitting here I decided to start making B Best Honey Soap.
In the spring of 2011, I made my first batches of soap and have not stopped since! Making adorable and affordable soap is our goal. We offer name brand quality with homemade charm!
