The Evolution of Fitness!

Bisbee's Fitness Experience offers a boutique gym experience that includes a gym membership, personal training and small group classes.

Bisbee's is operated by Scott Bisbee, and ACE certified personal trainer who has been involved in the fitness industry for 8 years. Here are a few of Scott's thoughts about the importance of fitness:

I've realized how important exercise is in a day where almost half the population is obese and the documented risk to health as a result of obesity is increasing almost daily. Exercise is now important than ever before!

Our lifestyles have changed dramatically in the past few hundred years. People were active on farms, so their work provided the exercise their bodies craved. Today many of us work at sedentary jobs and have to work hard and actively make time for exercise.

But that doesn't change that our bodies were made to exercise. If you still don't believe what I say, even 30 years ago there wasn't a huge risk for all these diseases (cancer, diabetes etc) our jobs are more stressful, and our lives are more stressful and exercise is a proven outlet for that stress.

I train people to reach their peak potential. You will be fitter, have more energy and be more excited about your life. But traditional gyms with weights and row upon row of machines are not the way to do this. It can be intimidating to figure out the best program for you with all those machines.

My program is tailored to you- your goals, interests and desires. I make exercise a fun, enjoyable activity- like it should be. I'm going to incorporate the TRX and closed chain exercises training that utilize your body weight to help you meet your goals.
