An eco-sustainable village is a traditional international community with the goal of becoming more socially,economically and ecologically sustainable.
Our place is called High Mountain Trekking Camp and that’s for a reason:
We are high up in the mountains!!
Our closest City, Nainital, is a beautiful place around Nainital lake. As a previous British holiday place, the village combines all the religions in a relaxed lake view and peaceful atmosphere. From there, you take a taxi to the Government Polytechnic from where the real adventure starts! Since we are really inside the mountains and all its untouched nature, cars don’t come here, noise and honking stay down at the City. So, from Polytechnic, you will have to trek 3.5km until arriving in Gairkhet, our village and the place where the wind blows smoothly and we can see the whole mountain range! You cannot believe how beautiful is the sunset from here!!!
