- A Doula is a woman (or man) that helps you through your pregnancy, labor/delivery, and post partum periods.
What does a Doula do?
- A Doula can provide natural pain relief during intense contractions, calm fears, discuss pros and cons to medical interventions, be on call to answer questions or concerns you may have.
What does a Doula NOT do?
- A Doula will not do any medical procedures. (ex. listen for the heart beat, cervical checks, deliver the baby etc.)
