Upstate Empire Fitness consists of two ONLINE coaches; Brian and Alyssa Devins. Brian is a certified personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise, Precision Nutrition certified and lifetime natural bodybuilder. On top of being an online physique coach, Brian is a full time Firefighter-Paramedic. Brian specializes in contest preparation, general weight loss, lean mass gain and strength training.
Alyssa is a Nationally Qualified NPC bikini athlete, physique coach and on top of her life as an athlete and coach Alyssa is an Occupational Therapist. Alyssa has a Bachelors in health studies and a Masters in Occupational Therapy.
Together they have designed a unique approach that tailors an evidence based training and nutrition to the clients goals. Whether your goal is to increase your strength and energy or you want to hit the stage and show off your physique Upstate Empire Fitness will design a program tailored to YOU.
There are NO "cookie cutter" diet plans and no special foods to create your dream physique. Our approach to nutrition is a diet that inclusive. Not exclusive. This approach sets you up for greater success and allows you to take the next step in learning about exercise nutrition. In a time where fad diets and programs are on the rise you can rest assured that we will have your back with evidence to back out strategy.
We place a huge emphasis on teaching our clients about how to optimize their success through training and nutrition. The programs we design are made to improve your lifestyle by changing views on food, resistance training and cardiovascular training. Upstate Empire Fitness designs training routines by evaluating the clients goals, assessing their information and evaluating the clients current body composition. Then tailoring a program to the clients strengths, weaknesses and their life. Nutrition is approached in a flexible manner. While the client chooses what they eat, there are some guidelines to ensuring that they are eating the proper matrix of Protein, carbohydrates and fats. As well as ensuring fiber and micronutrient goals are being met.
