The Student Recreation and Wellness Center opened its doors on August 18, 2010 after two years of construction. The 200,000 sq ft center includes a three level fitness room, suspended track, indoor turf field, five court gymnasium, multipurpose rooms, food service area, and gathering areas for patrons to meet and relax with friends. The facility also houses the Outdoor Pursuits Center, an outdoor resource center that features a 36-foot climbing wall and offers clinics, programs, and rental equipment for various outdoor activities.

INTRAMURAL SPORTS
Intramural Sports are for Ball State students, faculty, staff, and alumni with valid Ball State identification cards looking to play competitive sports against others on campus. We offer singles, doubles and team tournaments and leagues throughout each semester. To register for intramural sports, participants must first create an account on imleagues.com/bsu/registration . From there participants may choose to either create a team or register as a free agent so that you may request to joins team and/or show teams in need of players that you are available. Registration must be complete with full payment by their respective deadlines. The front office is available to assist you with registration issues and answer any questions that you may have. BSU FIT CLASSES
BSU Fit offers many trained instructors who teach a variety of fitness classes for all levels of fitness. We offer over 50 classes each week during the school year. Some of those include Cycling, Pilates, Zumba, PIYO, and strength training. These classes are offered year round and will challenge the fitness levels of all participants. BSU students and affiliates have the obtain several levels of class packages ranging from a 5-Class Pass to either a Unlimited Academic/Semester Pass. for more information please visit bsu.edu/recreation/bsu-fitness.html

SPORT CLUBS
The Sport Clubs program at Ball State University is a major component of the Office of Recreation Services. Sport Clubs are recognized student organizations that exist to promote and develop interest in a particular sport or activity. These interests may be competitive, recreational, or instructional in nature, and participation in sport clubs is strictly voluntary. Each club is organized and run by its student members under the supervision of the Office of Recreation Services. The emphasis of Sport Clubs is student leadership and development because of this student’s involvement in clubs enhances their university experience and contributes to their overall education.
