Arc Yoga is a cosy studio with a big heart. Offering a range of class times and levels, you will easily find a class to suit you.

Arc Yoga was started in 2012 by Maria Allen following an opportunity to leave Townsville and live in Canberra for 12 months. Having practiced yoga for many years, Maria was inspired to become a teacher after seeing how her dad benefitted from yoga, and the potential for it to help people.

The name ‘Arc’ is Sanskrit (classical Indian language) for ‘Shine’. This symbolises so much of what we love about the shining qualities of yoga.

Arc Yoga currently offers 8 studio classes each week taught by our 6 qualified yoga teachers and yoga therapists - Maria, Cassie, Lesley, Miranda, Nigel and Sandra. Of these 8 classes, there are 4 beginner level yoga classes, 2 beginner/general level yoga classes, 1 general level yoga class and 1 meditation/gentle yoga class. We also offer a 5 week beginners course and GroovyKids™ Yoga.
