OUR TRAINERS

Adim and Zan are passionate about the sport and come to Maryborough as qualified instructors with over 6 years experience in the art of Muay Thai Kickboxing.
Adim studies sports science at Monash Uni, he loves the mountains and lives kickboxing. He travels to Maryborough three times a week to train our students and he loves it.
Zan is the owner, a family man and IT guru, with great passion, ability and knowledge.
These two are energizing, inspiring and motivating.

JUST COME TO THE GYM AND LEAVE THE REST TO US

If you are ready to learn the ultimate form of self-defense or you want to improve your fitness and your shape in the best possible way, then you should come along to XFM and say hi.
Feel free to watch a session and once you are ready to get on the mats your first session half price.
Our Beginners are taught the absolute basics of kickboxing. How to stand, how to hold and move the body. Our trainers pay close attention and they are there to guide you through the foundations.

TRAIN HARD ON SOFT MATS

Beginners and Intermediates
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7-8pm.

Don't be fooled - the training will push you to your limits and beyond and you will see dramatic changes in your fitness and strength.
XFM offer first rate coaching and an atmosphere guaranteed to take your breath away.

LITTLE DRAGONS

Children's classes for girls and boys 5-12 years
$10 per class Thu and Fri 6pm-7pm.

We welcome families to XFM. Our gym is a clean, safe, open space that allows kids to run around and enjoy themselves. It is also a great discipline for them to learn this martial art and our Little Dragon students always enjoy their session.

TAI CHI - THE ART OF GENTLE EXERCISE

Relax and enjoy Tai Chi in our spacious, clean and comfortable gym.
If you are concerned about your mobility, Tai Chi can also be done while seated.

ABOUT TAI CHI

Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that promotes health and mental relaxation and is one of the most effective ways of preventing falls in older people.
This gentle exercise:

~Strengthens your heart and lungs
~Improves your mobility and flexibility
~Improves your cardiovascular endurance
~Improves your balance and steadiness

XFM is very pleased to bring Tai Chi classes to Maryborough. Your instructor is the highly respected Master Barry Lacey.

ABOUT BARRY

Barry lives in Newstead. He has achieved 3rd grade black belt in Shotokan Karate and has over 25 years experience in teaching the art of Tai Chi. Barry’s instruction is accredited by Dr Paul Lam of Arthritis Victoria and he also holds classes for Castlemaine Health CHIRP.

WHAT TO WEAR

Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle.

CLASSES TIMETABLE and COST

Mondays 2-3pm
Wednesdays 10.30-11.30am
$8/ session with a percentage of the income donated to the Newstead, Men's Shed.
EFTPOS and Card facilities available.

Tai Chi is promoted and supported by the Arthritis Foundation of Australia, Diabetes Australia and Osteoporosis Australia.
