Midwest Training & Ice Center is the region's largest state-of-the-art training facility for Ice Hockey/Figure Skating and Gymnastics. MTIC provides the highest quality instruction to athletes of all ages and abilities. Sport specific training is available in gymnastics, ice hockey, figure skating, and cheerleading. For the recreational athlete, Midwest Training & Ice Center offers public skate sessions, drop-in hockey and open gym.
Midwest Training and Fitness Studios: Powered by Tina Sena is located within the facility and features Northwest Indiana's top trainers and instructors. From expert exercise instruction, to nutritional guidance, to meal planning and lifestyle coaching – No one just exists at Midwest Fitness, you “strive” as we teach, train and coach you to reach your goals at every session.
In addition to our sport specific training programs, Midwest Training & Ice Center is the proud home of The Midwest Youth Hockey League featuring the Midwest Maniax, The Illiana Hockey League featuring Lake Central, Crown Point, Munster & Portage High Schools, Midwest Gymnastics & Trampoline & Tumbling Teams, Cheerleading, along with 20 Adult Men's Hockey Teams.
Approximately 10,000 athletes, parents and spectators enter our building weekly. Many weekends are filled with Hockey Tournaments or Gymnastics Meets that bring in additional families from all over our region.
