My journey before MFU has always been about helping people, after a long stint of depression, I kicked the black dog to the curb through fitness unmedicated, this guided me into studying my cert 4 in mental health, and lot's of extra study on fitness and mental health benefits. From there, I realized I could not achieve what I set out to do in the mental health system. So I then studied to be a personal trainer and MFU was born. Combining my knowledge for health, nutrition and fitness with the knowledge I gained from mental health, I began training my clients and taking my classes with a difference. Exercise, is not everyone's idea of fun, and a lot of excuses get made regarding time, money and children. So with this in mind, I made it my mission, to make MFU affordable, child friendly (as a mum of 3 girls myself, this was very important) and FUN!
Now with all this in mind I continue to study and expand on both aspects, fitness and mental health. Recently studying NLP and life coaching, I have the skills to help you help yourself on so many levels not just fitness. But, I can't do it all on my own, so I set out to find a base, other like minded trainers with different specialty skills to offer a broader range for our followers, now that being done, and after almost 6 months in the making, we have a NEW permanent location in Mansfield and are getting redy to knock your socks off come February 2015!
