Cannabis legalization for recreational, industrial and medicinal use.

Thank you for your interest in North Carolina NORML of the Triad. This is an exciting time for our organization, and others like us, as our nation is undergoing a change in the way marijuana(cannabis) is viewed.
NORML's mission is to move public opinion sufficiently to legalize the responsible use of marijuana(cannabis) by adults, and to serve as an advocate for consumers to assure they have access to high quality marijuana(cannabis) that is safe, convenient and affordable.

Our current focus is the medical benefits that cannabis applications can serve; as well as the viability of Hemp as as a profitable, agricultural option for North Carolina.

We recently thought that we had made some progress forward with the passing of the CBD research program; however, that program has been a farce and a failure. Our fight continues in 2017 since the killing of HB78 by those 'serving' on the Rules Committee, the discussion can not be reintroduced for two years. That is frustrating for us all but especially difficult for those who's lives depend on this amazing medicine.

We MUST wake up constituents/legislators to the NEED for Marijuana/Cannabis law reform! Thank You to North Carolina Legislators Ben Scales, Kelley Alexander and Pricey Harrison for all your help and support against great odds.

We are striving hard to improve the organization in order to meet the needs of our community members. We will have events and community-action projects to help us gain public approval and change the way cannabis users/supporters are viewed. We look forward to you joining us in these upcoming events!
