We have 2 goals, to raise awareness of poverty and to do something about it, you should not be 90 years old and have to choose food or meds.
We feel that as human beings we owe it to ourselves to have a greater cause than winning a crown. By entering we feed someone who is hungry by no fault of their own. We help find shelter for those who have none.We provide eye care for those who cant see, hearing aids for those who cant hear,transportation for the elderly who can no longer drive,and hope to apply to" the powers that be" to establish food pantries in counties that don"t have one. We know of 2 such places and we are still looking.
