Welcome to THE RED SCISSOR SALON & DAY SPA! My name is Ashlee Sledge Besse and I have been in the beauty industry for 21 years. I have been behind the chair most of those years but did take a break and get my teaching license from Aveda and taught Cosmetology School for them in Baton Rouge for 3 years. I have currently been with Waterfalls Salon in Amite but we have decided to dissolve the salon and open a new one! THE RED SCISSOR has been my dream since I cut my first piece of hair! I always wanted to be a full service salon owner and now my dream is a reality! I am so excited for everyone to come and enjoy all of our services or just stop by for a visit and a cup of coffee! THE RED SCISSOR will be open on Septmeber 3, 2014. Can't wait to see ya'll there!!!
