Barcaldine Tennis is operated by Barcaldine Lawn Tennis Club Inc. We are a not-for-profit organisation which promotes a passion for tennis within the Barcaldine catchment. Barcaldine Tennis maintains and re-invests in the Centre and in the sport of tennis within and around Barcaldine. We strive to deliver high quality tennis services including coaching, tennis fixtures, social play, court and venue hire. Please come down and have a hit with us!
Newly renovated (2014/15) synthetic grass courts - 2 mini kids courts, 1 half court, 6 full size courts and practice back board.
Family friendly environment - BBQ, picnic tables, grandstand, playground and sandpit, toilets and showers.
Tennis Fixtures - Tuesday nights from 6pm
Dinner, Snackfood and Bar available.
2017 Fees are as follows:
Adult fixture fee - $70 per season
Junior fixture fee $35 per season
Social Tennis - $free for members
Court Hire (non-members) - Courts - day/night - lights available
$5/person - If anyone wishes to borrow the key for the tennis court lights, there are now 2 keys available. One is kept at Walsh Accounting (68 Ash Street) and the other is kept at George Bourne and Associates (67 Elm Street), and will be looked after by GBA.
Both keys have a sign-out so we can keep track of them. The keys can be collected from either office in business hours Mon-Fri, so it is best to pick it up in advance if you are planning to play at night or on the weekend.
