Dancing His Praises Dance Studio

We desire to teach the art and proper technique of dance but we want to do it to glorify and praise our Lord and Savior through our dance.

DHP started nearly 18 years ago with a handful of students in a one-room space. The studio has EXPLODED since then and it continues to grow! We now have two studio locations, many teachers and an army to help run this place. We teach ages 3-18 in the style of ballet, lyrical, tap, jazz and irish. Our studio and the teachers that work here have both different and similar aspirations to other dance studios. We desire to teach the art and proper technique of dance but we want to do it to glorify and praise our Lord and Savior through our dance. That is our ultimate goal. However, the Bible does tell us that whatever we do, do it as unto the Lord. In Proverbs it says to bring “the FIRST fruits of all your crops” to the Lord. We want the same in our dance and worship towards the Lord. Which means, to bring your FIRST and best fruits to the Lord, you must put work and effort in. We aim and work for our dancers to gain knowledge and skill in their dance abilities but to also grow and learn to do whatever one does as if doing it for the Lord.
