Equines in Motion, LLC offers Equine Sports Massage Therapy Services and is Distributor of Uckele Health and Nutrition products for Equines and Canines.
Over the years she has successfully used Massage, Chiropractic Care, Acupuncture and Acupressure in an effort to prevent, treat and aid performance in her own horses. She has received multiple certifications in equine massage, including having hands on private instruction with Mary Shreiber, the founder of Equissage, located in Roundhill, Virginia, Currently she continues to pursue further coursework and training in massage, acupressure, myofacial release and cranial sacral work.
Carrie Bateman has been involved in the equine industry for over 35 years. Her involvement with horses started as a young child. She began riding at the age of 4 and began competing in both open and Arabian breed shows around the age of 7. Her involvement with horses has allowed her to compete all over the United States and Canada in a variety of disciplines including western, hunt seat, Saddle Seat, competitive trail riding, gymkhana, and reining. Today her passion for horses continues just as strong, and is able to share her love for horse with her 8-year-old daughter. She currently operates Horsing Around, LLC, a boarding facility, with her longtime friend Anna Gurtner-Titel located in Eau Claire, WI. She is also actively involved as a Board member of the Bit & Spur Saddle Club, and continues to compete in National Reining Horse Association events and National Reined Cow Horse events.
