Why I own and manage a weight management clinic!
As a registered Nurse, my heart ached every time someone would come into the ER i was working who was struggling with problems that I knew could be prevented. Patients were on multiple medications, ones they didn't even know why, yet they just kept becoming more unhealthy and had more symptoms. I truly felt a pull from God that I was supposed to help people in another way.
Just after my 45th Birthday, i decided I was done feeling awful in my skin. I was over weight, my joints ached, i had acid reflux, non of my clothes fit and I just felt awful in my own skin. I have been there tried that with every diet under the sun. I had lost weight before, but I did not do it the healthy way. I found my way to an Ideal Protein Clinic and over the coarse of the next 6 months, I was able to lose 50 pounds. Once I learned the science behind this medically monitored protocol, I knew this is what was going to help people! I then sought out to purchase my own clinic. In April of 2017, I was introduced to a current clinic in Newton and in a matter of a month, I bought the clinic. :-)
