The Lucia N°03 is a hypnogogic light machine. Hypnagogia, the state between wakefulness and sleep, is greatly altered by the perception of light. Developed by neurologist Dirk W. Proeckl and psychologist Engelburt Winkler from Austria, the Lucia N3 combines a steady light which varies in intensity, and a stroboscopic light, which varies in speed and intensity.
