Founded in 1999, Mind & Body Connection has provided 24 hour 7 day a week continuous wellness for Milan and greater Sullivan County. Founder, owner, operator Dale Green is a registered nurse trained by Thomas Plumber, Canyon Ranch Institute and years of martial arts participation.
Since its conception, Mind & Body, as the name implies, has fostered personal health and lifestyle improvement in its members.
Over the years, classes have been offered in Tai Chi, Aerobics, Yoga, Dance, Gymnastics, ultimate fighting, meditation, cooking, nutrition and spiritual enhancement.
Boot Camp - 2005-2006 for women was the first lifestyle group training, which focused on better awareness of nutrition, cooking, stress reduction, self defense cardio conditioning, strength training, balance, flexibility, confidence and team building.
Boot Camp II - 2006 - 2009 incorporated the same aspects listed above, plus... air soft and paint ball competitions, dodge ball, dance and puzzle solving.
From 2009 to 2012, Mind & Body was a major stake holder in the Canyon Ranch Institute Lifestyle Enhancement Program in partnership with the Sullivan County Memorial Hospital. Assessments of participants before during and after showed many positive results such as...
decreased A1c readings, lowered overall blood sugars, lowered cholesterol, stable lowered blood pressures, less depression and anxiety. Some participants decreased medications, others actually were able to stop blood pressure or diabetic meds.

Circle of Friends - which will attempt to incorporate all the best and proven lifestyle trainings offered in previous classes. Accepting 25 participants for the first session.
