I decided to get into massage after 16 years of being a Medical Assistant, Lab Tech, Nurse Assitant and Phlebotomist. I felt that I needed a change in my profession and wanted to help get people on the road to healing the natural way. I went to The Healing Arts Institute for Massage in Fort Collins Co. I graduated
in 2005 with 500 hours certification. Since graduating I have also taken courses on whiplash, neck pressure points, TMJ, Reiki Master/Teacher, Intuitive Cranial Therapy and Doula. By receiving massage myself on a regular basis I am constantly discovering new and different techniques. I love new ways to help people and get them on the road to healing.
Throughout my career I have helped many people, but one that stands out was a client with a serious sciatic problem. When he first came in he had to hold on to everything just to walk to the room, and then when he 45 got into the room I had to help him onto the table. After the massage he got off the table by himself, and walked around the room unassisted!
Being a Colorado native, I was born in Loveland, I love the outdoors. When i'm not working you can find me camping, riding my bike, reading or traveling.
