WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a different form of permanent makeup that uses a disposable manual hand tool with ‘microblades’ that deposit semi-permanent pigment into the superficial dermis of the skin. This technique has been around for thousands of years, and has been improved and perfected over the last few years in the western world.
Microblading creates the most natural looking eyebrows by creating crisp hair strokes to mimic your natural eyebrow hair. This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. You don't want to leave your appointment with people KNOWING you have had microblading done. The goal is to leave with it looking as real as possible. Microblading is an art form and not everyone should be performing this procedure. It has become quite popular among the beauty world and unfortunately some people are really causing harm to people causing scarring, and a botched brows shape. Please know it takes hours of practice, learning and skill to obtain a good reputable certification in this art. Before getting this procedure done, do your homework of where, when, and how many hours of expertise your technician has gone thru to perform this procedure on you. This is your face, invest in it wisely.
Microblading is a 2 step process, usually 4-6 weeks apart. It is important to complete both the initial procedure and touch up.
STEP 1: The initial procedure takes approximately 2.5 hours. During this time, a
consultation is done where we discuss your desired brow look, choose a colour tone and draw the initial outline of the procedure area with the Golden Mean Ruler, for your approval. Though our faces are NOT perfectly symmetrical, we do our very best to create as much symmetry as possible! As we like to say, BROWS ARE SISTERS, NOT TWINS. Once you are satisfied with the basic shape and symmetry, the area is then traced over and semi-permanent pigment is applied with a disposable microblading hand tool packaged just for you. This procedure uses a manual hand tool and not a machine.
STEP 2: The second stage of the treatment is the PERFECTING VISIT appointment. This touch up service takes approximately 1 hour and is included in your initial service. Touch ups are done no earlier than 5 weeks of your initial procedure and no later than 10 weeks. This perfects your brows of any small areas that may have disappeared, or faded during the first healing process. After this you should be good for at least 9months, or up to 2 years depending on how you take care of them, and your skin type. When completed, you will have the most natural looking eyebrows, especially with the PhiBrows artist.

WHAT IS PHIBROWS?
At Pretty Penne Brow Bar we ONLY have certified & licensed Phibrows Artists. If you would like to verify this you can find each technician at www.phi-academy.com/community/
With PhiBrows we create beauty through golden intersection proportions (phi -1.618). We see the perfection in the golden intersection between two extremes.
Phi Artists are taught through live courses and they have to pass very strict criteria, levels and standards prior to obtaining their certificates, which can take months of practice, learning and sacrifice.
We choose highest quality brands in the industry that earned their position thanks to the quality built through experience, rather than brands that have imposed themselves on the market by marketing.
Behind every product with the PHI mark there is a serious company that produces it, as well as PhiAcademy that guarantees the high quality product based on thorough research.
