Steven was drafted in 2008 by the Seattle Mariners and has played in the Mariners, Colorado Rockies, Baltimore Orioles, and Angels organizations. He has also played professionally in Mexico, winning the Caribbean World Series as part of team Mexico. Prior to being drafted, Steven played at Elon University in North Carolina.
