Built in a natural fold of the Laconic Gulf in the cuddle of the crystal clear waters of Peloponnissos, Alas resort & spa is situated in the Elia (olive tree) village, in a distance of only twenty minutes from the castle of Monemvasia.
According to the tradition, an Olive tree which was the meeting point of the fishermen and the local people, gave the name to our village, while the historic name of the area was Viandini, with its roots to the Mycenean Times.
