Home of Norther Neck Youth Performing Arts Foundation; a not for profit 501 (c)(3) amateur dance company, Richmond Essex School of the Performing Arts' mission is to prepare the serious dancer for a career in the performing arts while offering opportunities for the not-so-serious dancer to experience dance in a recreational environment. Richex performs twice annually with Northern Neck Youth Performing Arts Foundation. In Jan. 2014 their sixth annual production of The Nutcracker will be held at Northumberland High School Auditorium. In June 2013 the summer concert was Wizard of Oz.
