Our Programs:
GRACIE JIU -JITSU

Gracie (Brazilian) Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a highly effective self-defense system of ground fighting. It is designed to allow a smaller, weaker person to defend his or her self in a real world situation that goes to the ground. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu does this by the detailed study of correct body mechanics, timing and placement. This is good for you the student because the methods are not based one strength or speed so the skills will not fade as will strength and speed. This is also in line with the self-defense mindset of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu meaning you training should prepare you for a street encounter where you don’t get to choose what weight class you will be fighting in.

CHILDRENS PROGRAMS

We currently take children aged 11-14. We teach submission holds for the purpose of controlling an opponent , but will not be taught any chokes or potentially lethal techniques until they are old enough to be promoted into adult classes. The children’s classes , as well as all adult classes will be fun and free of intimidation by instructors or other students.

Yoga Fit
YogaFit® classes involve linking poses together to create greater strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility while providing participants with a safe, judgment-free, stress-free, and inclusive environment. Participants are encouraged to go at their own pace and stay present in each moment. Class consists of warm-up, work, and cool down (deep stretching) as well as 5 – 10 minutes of final relaxation. YogaFit® is designed for everybody in every body.

Fitness Kickboxing

Kickboxing class incorporates basic skills/techniques with drills, offering the opportunity to achieve a powerful workout within a safe, fun, confidence-boosting environment. Class consists of a brief overview of skill/technique, with the greatest portion of time spent punching and kicking pads, allowing time for rest periods in between. We not only instruct on the use of punches and kicks but also precise knees and elbows. Great program to build amazing cardio as well as develop your stand up skills.This program is great for all ages and skill levels.

Training Camp is a strength and conditioning program consisting of diverse exercises performed in a circuit fashion in a small group setting (up to 8). The Training Camp program mimics that of a professional mixed martial artist but with real people in mind, implementing safety, function, and fun (avoiding the boredom that can develop with the typical fitness program, which oftentimes leads to inability to meet goals).
