Wadi Farm Equine Learning Centre

ALL VISITORS AND CLIENTS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. "Saving horses isn't about saving horses, it's about managing people." ~ Dr S. Greenwell

Wadi Farm Equine Learning Centre is Kevin and Katherine Waddington. We are 2 of 9 founding members of the Outback Heritage Horse Association of WA (Inc) - a Donor Gift Recipient (DGR) status charity which was founded in 2005 and ran for 10 years, rescuing "at risk" old bloodline wild horses from remote outback areas in WA.

Katherine is a horse trainer, author, digital photographer, amateur ethologist and equine behavioural interpreter. In her spare time she is a Mail Contractor and does the local rural mail run.

Kevin Waddington is the principal trainer of the horses who participate in the equine programs at Wadi Farm Equine Learning Centre. Kevin has extensive natural horsemanship training and bare foot trimming experience. Kevin is also a student of Equine Touch (a form of bodywork for horses) and is a member of the Australian Light Horse Association, participating in World War I Lighthorse re-enactment work and undertaking volunteer school/club visits with the horses. When not working with horses Kevin works in Local Government in the areas of Asset Management and Finance. And runs the farm!

Wadi Farm has 14 permanent (mostly rescued wild born) equine residents, many of which now partner us in "Rafa Life", an Equine Facilitated/Herd Wisdom Based Learning journey with Elizabeth Denniss as our human partner and trained EFL Facilitator.

Elizabeth also runs a Facebook page (Rafa Life), and you can check out our business website... www.rafalifejourney.com/#!equine-experience-retreat/c15wm

Wadi Farm Equine Learning Centre hosts veterinary students, equine experiential learning retreats, training clinics, and individual equine facilitated learning sessions as well as running a variety of holistic equine based programs.

Oh, and we consider ourselves eudaemonists.

"Eudaemonism (also eudemonism)
noun ~ a system of ethics that bases moral value on the likelihood that good actions will produce happiness."

Visitors are always welcome by appointment, clients as well!
