A Reiki Life Academyâ„¢ is a professional Reiki treatment and education facility founded on the tradition of Usui Shiki Ryoho (the Usui System of Natural Healing); honoring the spiritual lineage of Dr. Mikao Usui, Dr. Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata, and Phyllis Furumoto. Our mission is to apply the highest standards of excellence to all Reiki treatment services, educational programs, and volunteer opportunities offered; as to embody and fully express the essence of Reiki in everything that we do.
Nancy Bunt, founder of A Reiki Life, has been involved with Reiki for over 20 years and is a full Reiki teaching master. Nancy Bunt is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider.
Nancy has been practicing Reiki for over 20 years in both private practice and in clinical settings, and she is a full Usui Reiki Master teacher.
Nancy is also a Certified Yoga Teacher (RYT500), with advanced training in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TSY®); a Certified ChildLight® Yoga Instructor; a Certified Meditation Teacher; a Trained SoulCollage® Facilitator; a Certified TRE® Provider (Tension/Trauma Releasing Exercises); a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer with advanced training in Mind-Body Wellness; and has a Masters degree in Sports Science (MSS).
Nancy maintains a daily Reiki self-treatment practice along with a regular meditation, and yoga.
