Ski and Snowboard hill

Big Ben Ski Centre has been operating for over 39 years. The program is operated by Leader Sports, a recreation management company, in partnership with the City of Cornwall.

The Centre opens (weather permitting) mid-December. The entrance to Big Ben Ski Centre is 300 meters west of Brookdale Avenue on Seventh Street extension (across from the Benson Centre entrance).

Big Ben Provides:

Wire cable lift, tow handle
Snowmaking & Grooming
Terrain Park
Under lights Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday evenings
Heated Chalet, change trailer, washrooms and snack bar

Hours of operation:
Wednesday through Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Ski and Snowboard School

The program begins each January and runs for five consecutive Saturday's for children four years of age and up. Snowboard lessons are held on Thursday evenings. Prices are inexpensive and lessons are taught by experienced, friendly instructors.

Please note: The program also offers private ski and snowboard instruction as young as three years of age. Registration forms are available in December at the Aquatic Centre as well as the Benson Centre. Big Ben Ski Centre does not provide ski or snowboard equipment rentals. NOTE: Helmets are required in the terrain park for all users and registrants in our ski and snowboard school.
