Larissa Reinders burst onto the henna scene in 2003 with the opening of her company Dragonfly Designs Henna, in Calgary, AB.

She immediately found herself swept away by a passion for the amazing potential that this ancient art form had to offer – both in its beauty and its energy. Self-taught in all things henna, Larissa uses her own hand-crafted natural henna paste to create amazing pieces of art for her clients to wear for a few weeks, without the use of stencils.

She has inspired many people through henna, and is well known for her
intricate designs, exacting standards, positive attitude and for the blistering speed at which she works. Larissa's versatility, intuition and passion for henna art are obvious and are appreciated by clients, students and fellow artists alike.

Now known as Dragonfly Henna, we offer professional services in the following areas:
Birthday Parties, Customer Appreciation Events, Grand Openings, Annual BBQs, Mother Blessings, Grad Parties, Fashion Shoots, Bachelorette / Bridal / Wedding / Reception Events, Fundraising Opportunities, Therapeutic / Healing Henna, Studio Appointments or Festival features and more.

Dragonfly Henna offers temporary body art in the form of henna and also glitter tattoos!

Larissa is a fully insured member of the Canadian Association of Body Artists, and has carried an International Certification of Natural Henna Artistry since 2004.

Larissa spends her time following her path in the company of her wonderful husband and their two lovely children in beautiful Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.
