Henna represents love and prosperity in many cultures around the world. Traditionally, it was an integral part of wedding ceremonies, baby showers, religious holidays, and other auspicious occasions. Modern day henna knows no bounds!

I have an artist background. I was an art student that decided to learn the art of henna. I started off drawing designs, and learning the design elements that make up a henna design. Eventually, I started using a cone, and after years of practise I do what I do today.

Hamnah N. The Henna Artist uses 100% Pure Natural Henna, that ensures the darkest stain. Safe to use for everyone, even kids.

***WE DO NOT USE OR WORK WITH BLACK HENNA. Henna is NOT black. The black dye used in "black henna" is usually para-phenylenediamine, also known as PPD. PPD is a synthetic coal tar dye, that is carcinogenic, a transdermal toxin, and a sensitizer. 100% pure henna stains skin in a color between orange, red, burgundy, brown or coffee.
