Recognition of the health benefits of goat milk was the driving factor in creating Plainview Farm Goat Milk Soap back in 2003 and the development of other goat milk products since then. Goat milk is known for the natural emollients, vitamins and triglycerides that make it a healthy and healing choice for your skin. The various essential oils we use also have their own healing qualities.

The soap is highly moisturizing and handcrafted from pure ingredients. Olive, coconut and palm oils are saponified with lye and combined with whole goat’s milk, rainwater and essential oil. We sometimes add other natural ingredients like oatmeal, honey, poppyseed or coffee for the exfoliation benefits. After it’s made, the soap is poured into a mold where it sits for a few days and becomes solid. After soap is taken from the mold and cut, we cure the soap on drying trays for three weeks where it hardens and is ready for use.
