Micro ring extensions are one of the most popular types of extensions in the industry. They are very discreet and not damaging to the hair if cared for correctly.
They are very small metal rings that are used to clamp together hair and extension. They are mainly used with stick tip/I tip hair extensions and are long lasting and easy to remove.
It takes aprox 150-200 strands of hair for a full head which adds length and volume to your hair.
or if you just require length you could have just 80-100 strands for a half head.
With correct care micro ring extensions can last for months, some people can make them last a year.
Extensions should be removed/tightened after 4-6 weeks depending on regrowth. If left to much longer than this the regrowth may become tangled and matted causing unnecessary weight and damage to the natural hair.
It is important to realize that your hair sheds on a daily basis as part its natural process. It is normal to loose up to 50 hairs a day. Whilst wearing hair extensions your hair still sheds but is held in place by the micro links. These hairs will therefore be released when the hair extensions are removed.
