Nestled in the heart of downtown Inverness, Main Street Hair Studio was founded by owner, Lindsey House, a New York native. Our goal is to bring the feeling of a big city salon, with affordable luxury services to our quaint downtown studio.
Lindsey and Kevin House opened Main Street Hair Studio in Inverness FL.
Kevin is from Washington D.C., and Lindsey is from Long Island, New York. They met working in the beauty industry eight years ago and have been working together ever since. They wanted to bring the feeling of a lofty urban salon to their quaint downtown studio. Lindsey has been styling hair for almost 13 years and has taught in salons all over the country. She has styled several celebrities, including, Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Fox news anchor/former Miss USA, Gretchen Carlson. She also worked at New York City fashion week along with many hair and fashion photo shoots. Along with teaching professionals, she strongly believes in keeping up to date on advanced education. She is Vidal Sassoon cutting certified and keeps herself and staff abreast of the latest hair trends.
