Newaygo Firearms Training Center & Range is Newaygo County's First All Season dedicated pistol training facility.

Newaygo Firearms Training Center and Range is a pistol training center and shooting range that originally started out in 2014 as Newaygo CPL Training, LLC. They first offered pistol training classes to fulfill the state requirement to obtain a concealed pistol license. They have now grown to offer a variety of firearms training for novice and experienced shooters. Their chief instructor, Rob Pope, is a United States Concealed Carry Association Certified Instructor. He also has instructor certifications from the National Rifle Association for the following courses: Basic Pistol, Personal Protection in the Home, Personal Protection Outside the Home, Defensive Pistol and Certified Range Safety Officer.
They are currently constructing a brand new 1200 square foot training center with a 50 yard shooting range. The facility will offer covered and heated pistol/rifle shooting stalls. The facility and range will be available to the public through purchase of a membership. The anticipated opening date is October 2016. The facility will be open Tuesday through Saturday. Future plans to expand include adding ammunition sales, shooting range, gun rentals, shooting leagues, competitions, instructor training, private instruction and more.
Newaygo Firearms Training Center and Range is Newaygo County’s first and only year-round dedicated pistol training facility. Located between Fremont and Newaygo, just off North River Drive at 9125 S. Wisner Ave. Newaygo, MI 49337.
