Our goat milk soaps and shampoo bars are handcrafted in Oxford, NC. Simple, all natural ingredients produce a wonderful soap with rich, creamy lather.
Red Mountain Goodness was born in early 2012. After making goat milk soap to ease my wintertime dry skin, requests came in from friends and family. We realized many could benefit from a good quality, all natural goat milk soap. Friends with skin allergies used our soap with no problems, and those with dry skin issues reported improvement. We were told that our soap made lotions and separate face cleansers unnecessary.
Given this feedback, we decided to partner with Prodigal Farm, a local Animal Welfare Approved goat dairy near our home and scale up to commercial levels. From our homestead in Oxford, NC, we now make a selection of soaps and shampoo bars, all using whole goat milk, all natural ingredients and no palm oil. Against the backdrop of bee hives, vegetable gardens, berry bushes and laying hens, we can say that our goat milk soap comes from a good home!
