We offer several group fitness classes at Studio Fit. We do not have monthly memberships or fees. Classes are $3, and you pay by the class. Following is a description of the classes we currently offer at Studio Fit. We would love for you to join us.

ZUMBA – Zumba is a Latin-inspired, calorie-burning, dance fitness party! It’s perfect for everybody. The Zumba motto is “Ditch the Workout, Join the Party.” Zumba is great for everyone from beginner to advanced and can be modified for every fitness level.

Kettlebell AMPD - This is not a typical kettlebell workout. Kettlebell AMPD takes heart-pumping music and kettlebell moves, and combines them into 60 minutes of calorie torching fun! The program uses lightweight kettlebells in both traditional and non-traditional ways to create a fun, effective full body workout. Combining the benefits of strength training and cardiovascular exercise, this program is a safe and effective workout for all fitness levels. We provide the kettlebells.

Tabata Bootcamp – Tabata classes are based on High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) using intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest. One full tabata is 4 minutes (8 rounds of 20:10) The exercises are primarily calisthenics based and include moves such as squats, lunges, jumping jacks, burpees, crunches, planks, push-ups, etc. Don’t be intimidated though – Tabata can be adapted to every fitness level, and the instructors will show modifications. Tabata is VERY effective. You will see changes in your body if you stick with this workout.

PiYo – PiYo is a fun, challenging class fusing Pilates and Yoga. You will burn calories, tone muscles, work on balance, and get a great stretch. Who says you have to jump, grunt, strain, and punish your body to get amazing results from your workout? Not with PiYo. PiYo combines the muscle sculpting, core firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga. PiYo is also fast paced to deliver a true fat-burning, low-impact workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and incredibly defined.

Pound Fitness – Pound is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming using lightly weighted exercise drumsticks (called Ripstix). The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, plyometrics, and isometrics for a major calorie burn while strengthening and sculpting infrequently used muscles. Pound can also be adapted from beginner to advanced levels, and is primarily a low impact workout. You can find more information on this workout at poundfit.com.

STRONG by Zumba™ is a High Intensity Interval Training class using more traditional fitness moves for a more athletic, conditioning-style workout. You use your own body weight as resistance to achieve muscle definition. There are movements inspired by dance but these are limited compared to a Zumba® class, so it's perfect for those not comfortable in a full-out dance class. This class will push you past your limits to help you reach your fitness goals faster. Using your own body weight, you will gain muscular endurance, tone, and definition, and you will experience an increased afterburn. This class can also be adapted for beginners.
