Gracie Lafayette Team Hopkins is committed to the effective teaching of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu which utilizes leverage, strategy and technique over strength.

Gracie Lafayette Team Hopkins is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy under the instruction of 3rd Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Professor Allen Hopkins, who received his black belt from 8th degree Master Pedro Sauer.

The mission of this academy is to provide quality instruction to our students through effective, real world self-defense techniques that are not based on size, strength, athletic ability, or time limits. We are committed to the effective teaching of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Our program is centered on self-defense and includes conditioning, technique and sparring. Our curriculum is designed to ease the student into a training regime and application of technique.
