The Avantidrome is the Waikato's newest, state of the art sport and leisure facility, centered around the purpose built 250m, indoor velodrome.
The Avantidrome is the New Zealand National Cycling Center of Excellence, based in Cambridge. Central to this facility is the world class, 250m indoor cycling velodrome. The Avantidrome is both a High Performance and community facility.
Our 'open door' policy allows the public to come and visit for free anytime during our opening hours. Bring the kids out and use the free bike skills park, visit The Bikery Cafe, watch riders training on the track, and even get riding on the track yourself!
We've also got the Life Fitness Zone gym located here at the Avantidrome.
