C O R T E X & co. was created as an outlet to express the overall importance of science in the beauty industry. The cortex of hair is the most manipulated part of the hair shaft and to us, is the most important part.

Krystal Davidson, owner of C O R T E X & co., has been in the salon industry for over 8 years. Krystal injects creativity, professionalism, and her ultimate passion for excellence into every service she offers. Throughout her career, she has been behind the scenes of just about every aspect of the salon; from management, to education. Krystal's key differentiator lies in her consultation and ability to design a unique look. While her roots are in Texas, she now resides in Los Alamos, NM. When not at work, you can expect to find Krystal enjoying a craft and local beer at the Co-Op or out for a run on one of our many beautiful trails.
