Grow OM together.
The mission of Grow’n Om Yoga is to nurture the mind/body connection and enhance the quality of life for each individual through yoga. If it takes a village to raise a child, and we are all children at heart, then our connection to family and a support system are vital.
Yoga enables our ability to heal, connect and communicate with others. It is our mission to bring the healing qualities of yoga to every body and to provide children of all ages and stages, their families, teachers and caregivers with these resources and tools for greater growth and learning.
Grow'n Om Yoga was created by Christine Carriere, a yogi, teacher and ABA therapist to help families connect and grow together through yoga. Her experience working with children of all abilities in the classroom and in home based therapy inspired her to fuse yoga, breath-work and meditation activities in her work with children. As an RYT with over 400 hours of training in yoga for teaching adults and children and teens with special needs, Christine’s experience and skill set are both a huge asset to children and families.
Christine received her 200-hour certification through Karin Stephan and Val Spies which included both Iyengar and Hatha yoga styles. She has also completed a 200-hour certification with Stretch What Matters, LLC led by Elizabeth Goranson, which is focused on yoga as therapy for children with special needs. Christine is also Reiki Level 1 certified and is currently working on completing her MTELs.
