Hempstead House is a privately owned and run Country House Hotel and Restaurant where you are welcome to enjoy the elegant, spacious surroundings alongside all the business facilities you would expect from a larger corporate hotel. At the end of your day you can relax in the beautifully landscaped gardens, or elegant, comfortable reception rooms whilst enjoying a quiet drink prior to dinner in the restaurant.

Steeped in history, Lakes Restaurant is named after the family who built the house in 1850. Enjoy dining in our classical restaurant, sampling the fine English and French cuisine, freshly prepared by our team of talented chefs. Compliment the menu with a bottle of wine from our extensive cellars and round off the evening with coffee and liqueurs. These can be enjoyed in the drawing room by a roaring log fire in the winter or outside on the floodlit terraces on a balmy summer evening.
