The ICA is dedicated to providing education to help Indoor Cycling and Spinning® instructors learn more about their craft and to perfect their coaching. ICA has an unmatched team of contributors with many years of experience certifying and educating many thousands of instructors for the past 15 years.

Effective and safe training methods are crucial in order to legitimize indoor cycling as the best training method anywhere, for cyclists and non-cyclists alike. The key is realizing that the rules of training and laws of science (physics, biomechanics, exercise science/physiology) should not differ between these two groups when it comes to teaching them. The style of coaching might differ, but not the mechanics or movements.

The ICA is there to teach you, the instructor, everything you need to know to deliver the most effective, safest, and most fun indoor cycling class possible! It is not about a philosophy of a program, it is simply about understanding and combining the science of sport, the motivation of coaching and the power of music. It does not matter your certification - the Indoor Cycling Association applies to every single indoor bicycle manufactured, and to every certification program.
