I'm a mountain guide based in Ouray, Colorado and Jackson, Wyoming. In the winter, I provide avalanche education, backcountry ski tours, ski mountaineering, and ice climbing. In the summer, I instruct and guide mountaineering, rock climbing, and alpine climbing. As an employee of various guide companies, I am able to offer mountain adventures all over the United States.
Through San Juan Mountain Guides, I guide backcountry skiing, ski mountaineering, avalanche education, and backcountry ski hut trips on Red Mountain Pass and around Silverton. We also offer ice climbing in Ouray, the ice climbing capital of the US. Recently, San Juan Mountain Guides has begun to offer skiing and climbing in Rocky Mountain National Park, northwest of Boulder, CO, in addition to programs in Red Rock Canyon near Las Vegas and the beautiful sandstone of Moab, Utah.
Through Mountain Trip, I guide climbers up Denali's West Buttress, in addition to skiing and ice climbing in Telluride, CO.
Through Exum Mountain Guides, I guide rock climbing and alpine climbing in Grand Teton National Park and the Wind River Range in Wyoming.
