Who is Jordan Wildman and what can she do for me?

As a fully Licensed and Nationally Board Certified Counselor and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Jordan draws on over 20 years work experience in the field. Jordan is highly qualified to guide people towards optimal wellness and assist people in finding ways to prepare for and avoid anxiety, depression and substance abuse relapse as well as reach their specific life goals. Jordan is trained in Neurofeedback which makes her an ideal candidate for clients who wish to find an alternative and a supplement to medication. Neurofeedback helps anxiety-depression spectrum, PTSD, attention deficits, behavior disorders, sleep disorders, headaches, migraines, PMS and emotional disturbances. It can also help with peak performance in athletes. As an avid athlete herself and coach at CrossFit Durango, she understands the importance of being at the top of your mental and physical performance for competition.

Jordan is a devoted athlete, training 5 days a week in CrossFit and 2-3 days a week in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and trail running; competing regularly in distance and ultra-running events. As a former NCAA national champion swimmer, she believes that being in both good mental and physical health has contributed to her successes as an athlete throughout her life. As an athlete and coach, she understands the role that food plays in her daily life and can attest to the powers of clean eating and its efficacy in our overall well-being. When she's not in the gym or out running, you can find her with her husband and her two boy’s out and about in nature or on the river.

Jordan worked in various clinical settings including: teacher, wilderness therapy program leader, probation officer, detox counselor, domestic violence therapist and crisis therapist. She worked with SASO, Alternative Hoirzons and co-facilitating a group on female survivors of childhood sexual trauma. She works with clients to deepen their capacity to be proactive in their own mental health.

Jordan specializes in working with clients who suffer from: anxiety, depression, substance abuse, addiction, PTSD, trauma, and eating disorders. She also works with athletes to find what blocks them from reaching their full athletic potential. She offers neurofeedback for athletes to increase their peak performance.

Jordan understands the value of your time, offering short-term intervention, crisis and long-term counseling. She also works with adolescents and teens.

Jordan is credentialed as a therapist with the 6th Judicial District Victims Compensation Board and member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association.
