In our products, we use organic coconut oil and Shea butter as well as a variety of 100% pure essential oils and fragrance oils. Extensive research went into the fragrance oils we purchase for our products. Although most fragrance oils are created in a lab, the source of ours guarantees us that the ingredients they use are natural and one of the safest available for skin care products, gentle on skin, and safe for children!
Our whipped coffee scrub contains ground coffee. The caffeine in the grounds are used to naturally help tighten the skin, which may help to reduce the appearance of cellulite. It is also loaded with antioxidants which may help to reduce sun spots as well as premature aging.
Turmeric oil is an essential oil that contains at least 20 molecules that are antibiotic, 14 that are cancer preventatives, 12 that are anti-tumor, 12 that are anti-inflammatory, and 10 different antioxidants. Studies have shown that of these, as well as other key components in turmeric oil, it may help relieve some symptoms related to arthritis. We currently use turmeric oil in our face scrub and specialty marked products.
Black seed oil, also known as nigella sativa oil, has anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and nutritive properties as well as vitamin A, amino acids, and fatty acids. The oil helps provide deep skin moisturization and may help reduce some symptoms of acne, eczema, razor burn and psoriasis. We currently use black seed oil in the pretty skin body mousse, specially marked sugar scrubs and body butters.
Coconut oil is the main oil in all of our products. This oil contains vitamin E (which is essential for healthy skin growth and keeping skin smooth), capric, caprylic, and lyric acid (which have strong disinfectant and antimicrobial properties. As a result, when applied on the skin, coconut oil protects from microbial infections that can get into open wounds or even enter the body through the pores).Coconut oil has also been popular for its anti-aging properties because of its excellent skin moisturizing abilities.
Avocado oil is our newest oil addition to our bath bombs. One of the amazing properties of avocado oil is its humectancy, which prevents the skin from drying out and allows the skin to be more hydrated for a longer period of time without leaving a lot of grease behind. Avocado oil is rich in vitamin E, A, and D, as well as protein and fatty acids, which all help to protect the skin, hydrate and moisturize, and calm itchy skin.
Sunflower oil is used alongside coconut oil in our sugar scrubs. This oil contains high amounts of vitamin E, A, C, and D, fatty acids, and antioxidants. Its antioxidant properties is said to help reduce the appearance of aging, and its vitamin E content is said to help prevent scarring. Being naturally emollient, this light and non greasy oil helps the skin to retain moisture without leaving it feeling greasy.
Body butter is an oil based lotion. When applied, they feel heavier than a typical lotion but a little goes a long way and lasts much longer. Our butters, along with the pretty skin body mousse, are made with an organic coconut oil and organic Shea butter base. The regular body butters have fragrance oil whereas our specialty body butters use 100% essential oils. The pretty skin body mousse uses the same base as our body butter, but it also contains vitamin e, along lavender, eucalyptus, grapefruit, carrot seed, along with 6 other essential oils that help to give skin glowing, younger look. These oils combined may help to reduce the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite.
A whipped sugar scrub is an exfolient and moisturizer. Our scrubs are made with a sunflower seed oil and organic coconut oil base. The regular whipped sugar scrubs contain fragrance oil, while the specialty scrubs along with our facial scrub contain essential oils. Our facial scrub also includes jojoba oil beads that help to get deep into the pores. It also contains tea tree oil and juniper berry oil to fight acne and turmeric oil to give the skin a beautiful glow.
Our hair mask has a coconut oil base as well as grapeseed oil and olive oil to penetrate and lock in moisture, echinacea oil, which has been shown to help control dandruff, rosemary oil, which has been shown to help improve hair growth, and tea tree oil. This hair treatment is used on dry hair before shampooing. It must be shampooed thoroughly out.
All of our bath salts contain epsom salt, pink Himalayan sea salt, magnesium oil, and essential oils. Magnesium helps to relax muscles and reduce soreness. Any of these salts are excellent for after a hard workout or just to relax after a long day. However, our sore muscle bath salt contains peppermint, eucalyptus, lavender, and rosemary essential oils to really promote sore muscle relaxation.
Every bath bomb we make contain coconut oil to give the bath water the skin a silky feeling. Bath bombs contain baking soda and citric acid, a mild organic acid found in citrus fruits. Our bubble bath bomb contain an added bubbling agent derived from coconut and palm oils to fill the bath with a plethora of thick, long lasting foamy bubbles. Our bubbling agent is sulfate free and 100% of natural origin making it kid friendly and gentle on skin.
Though we have not conducted any medical studies to prove our products will provide the user with the results the studies we have found say the oils will provide, tons of research has been done to specifically choose which oils we use in our products. We are confident and proud of the products we create and hope that they help to improve the skin quality of all of our customers.
