A beauty salon or beauty parlor (beauty parlour) (or sometimes beauty shop) is an establishment dealing with cosmetic treatments for men and women. Other variations of this type of business include hair salons and spas. There is a distinction between a beauty salon and a hair salon and although many small businesses do offer both sets of treatments; beauty salons provide more generalized services related to skin health, facial aesthetic, foot care, aromatherapy, — even meditation, oxygen therapy, mud baths, and many other services.
Every business establishment, we can say that there will always be a problem or conflict, either employee vs employee, manager vs. manager, or the common conflict which is management vs employee. There are many businesses like jollibee, mcdonalds, chowking etc, but then the researchers chooses salon because of the reason that it is not the common business that could have plenty employees.
Among the salons here in tuguegarao in which the researchers will conduct their research, they choose the Iriz salon because their employees are approachable and because they have the time availability which can help the researchers easily conduct their interview.The iriz ladies salon is established in 2008 and manage by Ms. Ma. Rosanna z. iriz. The salon is one of the mid class salons in cagayan, and offers variety of services to its customer with a reasonable prices of services it render.
Since the iriz ladies salon is operating for almost 7 years, the purpose of this research is to know what are the common conflicts between their employees and management and how did they manage to solve the conflict.
The research is raised to better understand the human resource management of the salon in selecting their employees and how do they train their employees in terms of management-employees relation and managing their attitudes.
In the end of the study, the research pursue to help the owner understand how to manage employees in terms of emotions and attitudes of every employee and what could help them in resolving conflicts between them and their employees.
