The Ridgewater Cosmetology Department offers diplomas in Cosmetology, Estheology, Advanced Estheology and Nail Technology.
Ridgewater Cosmetology Department is one of two state colleges that are Pivot Point Member Schools. Pivot Point is taught in more the 50 countries and 13 languages. They have the largest network of schools nationally and over 52 years' experience educating in hair and the beauty industry. What sets Pivot Point aside from other leading educational systems is that they teach you how to See, Think, Create and Adapt as a designer. Ridgewater Cosmetology uses the Designers Approach Book series which offers the most extensive educational program in the industry.
The Cosmetology program is licensed by the state of Minnesota and has a successful history of training Cosmetologist, Nail Technicians and Estheticians for over 40 years. Our instructors have industry experience and keep up to date with the latest styles, trends and technologies used in the industry., helping make you a hot commodity in the job market.
Ridgewater has a lot more to offer than some beauty schools. We are a comprehensive community and technical college; you can choose to get your AAS degree in addition to your diploma or maybe even pursue a business degree so you have the knowledge to open your own salon.
