Yoga Collective classes are designed around a system of yoga that is accessible and challenging to all levels of practitioner. Relaxation, meditation, breathing techniques and physical poses leave practitioners feeling refreshed and replenished.
I began practicing yoga in 2012 and after about 18 months of attending guided classes I wanted to understand more about what the teachers were instructing and why. It was around this time that I also began to entertain the idea of teaching yoga. And so I began and completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Sydney with Akasha Yoga. The content and delivery of the course was above and beyond my expectation. However I did not feel ready to begin teaching yoga and so I began a 2 year Diploma in Yogic Studies. The diploma is a recognised VET course and provided great depth and exposure to yogic practices, concepts and philosophies. I now provide classes that are accessible and challenging to all levels of practitioner. The classes focus not only on the physical poses, or asana, but also utilise breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation and relaxation techniques.
