Samuel H. Johnson, LCSW is proud to announce the opening of a new private mental health practice here in beautiful downtown Seward.

Located at 5th and Adams, Behind the Sun Therapeutics, LLC is excited to offer individual, child, couples, and family systems therapy on a first come, first served basis to people living in Seward and the surrounding area.

If you would like to manage symptoms of common mental health problems, get through a difficult time in your life with grace, process through past traumas, or work on the next step in your personal growth, individual therapy can provide meaningful and worthwhile supports for taking steps to improve your quality of life.

Couples can improve their communication, rebuild feelings of connection, and work through interpersonal difficulties with the assistance of caring and insightful couples therapy.

Children and families can improve their overall functioning with thoughtful family systems oriented intervention emphasizing the natural strengths present in the child or family system.

Behind the Sun Therapeutics is also excited to offer creative mental health alternatives such as canine assisted therapy, art therapy, guided meditation, group retreats, and outdoor therapies on a case by case basis.

Behind the Sun Therapeutics accepts many insurances, and can accept credit cards, debit cards and checks for insurance co-pays and private or sliding fee payments.

Currently, Behind the Sun Therapeutics is open for service provision during the week by appointment on a first come first served basis.
